VIStA’s aim is to develop an information system at the village level. For this the local people are being trained to enable them to use it for their developmental plans. We felt the need for a centre where the villagers feel free to develop their information and use it. This idea was discussed several times in the Gram sabha. The Gram panchayat contributed panchayat land for the construction of the centre. VIStA took up the construction of the centre and it was inaugurated in February 2006.
